Common Questions

As cyber threats continue to increase each year, it becomes more and more important for us to be viligiant in our use of technology and information. Whether you’re at home, on campus, or on the go, you should know how to protect your personal information and to keep your technology secure. We are pleased to offer online Security Awareness training for every employee. Here is a list of helpful employee training questions and answers.
  • Start with The Essential Three. This training focuses on essential skills and knowledge meant to protect your information and the systems of the university. Information covered includes phishing attempts, strong passwords, social media management, and other critical information security tips.

  • We understand that you have a lot to do. That's why each of our online training modules is short—about 6-10 minutes. That's it.

  • Once you have completed an assigned module, your manager will receive an e-mail notification from our Learning Management System (LMS).

  • The modules can be run on any browser, however we have found that people have had the most consistent success using the Chrome Browser.
